Shopping Festival Opening Ceremonies

Dubai has this big shopping festival every year. It starts at the begining of January and goes on for a while (a month or two?). To celebrate the begining of the shopping festival there was a huge carnival and parade at the Dubai Creek Park. A couple of us headed there to check it out. Here's what we found:

At the end of the fireworks we headed back to Dubai Festival City Mall. We played a round of bowling, stopped by the grocery store, and then decided to call it a night.
